Every session. Every club.
All the data your coach needs.
Import launch monitor data from Rapsodo, Trackman, or any CSV export. Stroke Gained organizes it by club, session, and trend — so your coach sees patterns, not spreadsheets.
What Coaches See
Raw numbers become coaching intelligence.
Club-by-Club Breakdown
Carry distance, total distance, ball speed, and spin rate organized by club.
Session-over-Session Trends
Track how numbers change over time. Spot improvement — or regression — before the next lesson.
Dispersion Patterns
See where shots land, not just how far they go. Consistency matters more than averages.
Session Comparison
Compare any two sessions side by side. See exactly what changed and what stayed the same.
Supported Devices
Import data from the most popular launch monitors in golf, or bring your own CSV from any device.
Rapsodo MLM2Pro
Direct export from the Rapsodo app. Stroke Gained reads ball speed, carry distance, total distance, launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, and club path from every shot. The MLM2Pro is one of the most popular personal launch monitors, and we parse its native export format without any manual formatting.
Trackman
Import Trackman session reports or CSV exports. Stroke Gained supports the full Trackman data set including club speed, attack angle, face angle, dynamic loft, smash factor, and all ball flight metrics. Whether you use a Trackman 4 at your facility or a Trackman Range session, the data flows in the same way.
Foresight GCQuad
Foresight exports include club data and ball data measured at impact. Stroke Gained captures launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, ball speed, club speed, face angle, face to path, and impact location. The GCQuad is the gold standard for indoor fitting and instruction, and we support both the standard export and Performance Software reports.
FlightScope Mevo+
The Mevo+ exports session data through the FlightScope app. Stroke Gained imports carry distance, total distance, ball speed, club speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, and apex height. The Mevo+ is widely used for outdoor practice, and our import handles the standard CSV format from the FlightScope ecosystem.
Garmin Approach R10
The Garmin R10 exports through the Garmin Golf app. Stroke Gained reads ball speed, club speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry, and total distance. The R10 has become a go-to device for home simulators and backyard practice, making it one of the most common data sources we see.
Any CSV Export
If your launch monitor exports to CSV, Stroke Gained can read it. Our column-mapping tool lets you match your file's headers to standard metrics like ball speed, carry, spin rate, and launch angle. This covers devices like the Bushnell Launch Pro, SkyTrak, Full Swing KIT, and any other monitor with a data export feature.
What You’ll See in the Dashboard
Data organized for decisions, not just display.
Distance Charts
Carry and total distance plotted over time for each club in your bag. Stroke Gained charts your 7-iron differently from your driver because the trends that matter are different. A 3-yard carry increase with your wedges means something completely different than a 3-yard increase with your driver. Your coach sees each club's trajectory independently, making it easy to spot which clubs are improving and which have plateaued.
Spin Rate Trends
Spin rate tracked session over session with standard deviation bands. A player who averages 2,700 RPM with a 7-iron but ranges from 2,200 to 3,400 has a very different problem than a player who averages 3,100 RPM consistently. Stroke Gained shows both the average and the spread so your coach can distinguish between a spin rate problem and a consistency problem.
Dispersion Maps
Shot dispersion plotted as a scatter map for each club, showing exactly where shots land relative to the target. Your coach can see your miss pattern at a glance: does it pull left under pressure, leak right with longer clubs, or spray both ways with the driver? Dispersion data is the fastest way to identify what is costing you strokes on the course, because golf scores are determined by misses, not by averages.
Launch data without coaching context is just numbers.
We organize the data so your coach can tell the story behind it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What data formats does Stroke Gained accept?
Stroke Gained accepts native exports from Rapsodo, Trackman, Foresight, FlightScope, and Garmin, as well as any standard CSV file. When you upload a CSV, our column-mapping tool identifies common headers automatically and lets you manually assign any unrecognized columns. If your launch monitor exports data in any tabular format, there is a way to get it into Stroke Gained.
How often should I import launch data?
Import after every practice session where you use a launch monitor. The more data points Stroke Gained has, the more meaningful the trends become. A single session snapshot is useful, but the real value emerges when your coach can compare this week's session to last month's baseline. Most players who use a personal launch monitor import two to four sessions per week.
Does Stroke Gained work if I do not own a launch monitor?
Yes. Many players hit at facilities that have launch monitors available, like Trackman Range bays, TopTracer-equipped ranges, or indoor simulators running Foresight or SkyTrak. If you can export the data from those sessions, you can import it into Stroke Gained. You do not need your own device. Even a single range session per week at a facility with a monitor gives your coach meaningful data to work with.
What metrics does Stroke Gained track from launch data?
The core metrics include ball speed, club speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, carry distance, total distance, apex height, and landing angle. Depending on your device, additional metrics like attack angle, face angle, club path, dynamic loft, face to path, and impact location may also be available. Stroke Gained organizes all available metrics by club and session, so nothing gets lost.
Is my launch data private?
Your data is visible only to you and your connected coach. No one else can see your sessions, metrics, or trends. We do not sell data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Your launch monitor data stays within your Stroke Gained account and is used solely to help you and your coach track your progress.
